Cyberbyte Software is a software and embedded-engineering consultancy based in Kent. We've been building web platforms and the hardware behind them since 2020, and we shape each engagement around how your team works.

Whether you already know what you need or you want help scoping it, we give honest professional advice and handle the development from the first conversation through to launch and support.
You work directly with the engineers building your project. Nothing gets lost in handover the way it can at a bigger agency, and you can reach the people doing the work when you need them.

Plain, honest advice
We tell you what we'd actually do, where the risk sits and what it will take, in plain English and before anyone commits to a line of code.
De-risk before we commit
A feasibility study or a scoping conversation up front means fewer surprises later. We're clear about what we're not doing as well as what we are.
Specific, not buzzwords
We name the stack, the standard and the trade-off. Embedded Rust on Cortex-M, GraphQL over PostgreSQL, Next.js. No hand-waving.
We work the way you do
Fixed scope, ongoing retainer or just a second opinion. We flex the engagement to fit your team and your timeline, not a template of ours.

Three ways to work with us
Pick the shape that fits the work. We're happy to start with a conversation and tell you which one makes sense.
Project work
Fixed-price development against an agreed scope. We plan it, build it and see it through to a tested, deployed release, with clear milestones at every step.
Consultancy
Scoping, planning, architecture review and second opinions, often before a line of code is written. We're happy to advise on a project we don't end up building.
Retainer
A set allocation of our time each month for maintenance, small features, advice and quick turnarounds, without re-quoting every task.
