The brief

A regulated industrial product had to verify filtration performance continuously, integrate with site systems and be supportable remotely. It needed building from a blank specification.

What we built

  • Custom multi-layer PCBs in KiCad, with thermal management, conformal coating and design for manufacture.
  • Memory-safe firmware in embedded Rust on ARM Cortex-M.
  • Industrial fieldbus integration over RS-485 and Modbus, plus optical particle counting.
  • Closed-loop motor control with motion profiling, current sensing and stall detection.
  • A containerised gateway on industrial Linux for secure remote monitoring, configuration and OTA, with a cloud dashboard for the end customer.

In production

We owned every layer, from specification and prototype boards through bring-up, integration testing and on-site commissioning, to ongoing support. Few small consultancies take a regulated industrial product that far.
