The brief
A leading market-data company needed to take the full live feed of every London Stock Exchange trade, together with the exchange's regulatory news service, and turn it into share-price and company data that investors and listed companies can rely on, fast and at scale.
What we built
- An engine in Kotlin that ingests the full live LSE trade feed and the regulatory news service, built for high-throughput analysis at scale.
- TimescaleDB for time-series pricing and history, with the customer-facing APIs on serverless AWS.
- An investor portal and a public API that others build on, with a Next.js and TypeScript front end.
- Embeddable share-price and regulatory-news widgets that listed companies drop into their own sites, loaded on every visit so they have to be quick and reliable.
- Interactive charts so investors can pick a time frame, see trade volume and export the data.
