Hardware & IoT development
Custom electronics and the firmware that runs on them, from schematic and PCB design through to connectivity, edge deployment and field commissioning.
Overview
From copper traces to the cloud
We take hardware products from a blank specification through to deployed devices in the field. Schematic and PCB design, memory-safe firmware, connectivity and the cloud platform behind it all come from one team.
We write firmware in embedded Rust and C on Cortex-M, design boards in KiCad, and deploy edge software on Docker and Balena. Where a product needs cellular, Bluetooth Mesh or industrial fieldbus, we build it in rather than bolting on a module that doesn't fit.
- Schematic capture and multi-layer PCB design in KiCad.
- Firmware in embedded Rust and C on Cortex-M.
- Sensor integration, closed-loop motor control and power management.
- Cellular, Bluetooth Mesh and industrial fieldbus connectivity.
- Secure boot, signed OTA updates and remote diagnostics.
- Edge deployment on Docker and Balena, with a cloud dashboard.
How we approach it
From first conversation to live
Specify & prototype
We review the requirements and standards, then prototype the boards and firmware early.
Bring-up & build
We bring the hardware up on the bench and build the firmware and device software against it.
Commission
We test in the field and commission on site, not just in the lab.
Support & iterate
We support the fleet with remote diagnostics and OTA, and iterate as it grows.

Bring a rough idea or a finished spec. We'll talk through the approach, where the risk sits and what it takes to get a device into the field.
